a. Organize information and ideas around a topic to plan and prepare to write.
b. Establish a situation and introduce a narrator and/or characters; organize an event sequence that unfolds naturally.
c. Use dialogue and descriptions of actions, thoughts, and feelings to develop experiences and events or show the response of characters to situations.
d. Use temporal transition words and phrases to signal event order.
e. Provide a sense of closure.
f. With guidance and support from peers and adults, develop and strengthen writing as needed by revising and editing, with consideration to task and purpose.
Fractured Fairytale Prompt Use a fairytale of your choice to fracture. You may change the setting, characters, or point of view; you must change at least one. Be creative and have fun!

When you are finished with your draft, you will meet with your 12 o’clock partner and revise and edit each other’s papers.
Reflection When I first looked at everything that had to be completed for this assignment, I honestly thought it was a lot of work for no reason. I thought the process of using different websites between the Storyboard, Voicethread, and Wiki would be too much. However, after going through it I can really see the value of using something like this in the classroom. Not only could I create something like this for my students to view, but I could also use this as an amazing teaching tool. The thought required to plan and organize all of this information step-by-step as you walked us through it was very helpful and made everything extremely smooth when it came time to upload it all onto my page! I believe that Voicethread would be a very valuable classroom interactive collaboration tool. It’s a great way to engage students and have them get more confident in using technology. The students having the ability to create their own story and illustrations, then posting themselves reading it could be awesome and really help to cultivate a love for learning. I would go through a tutorial on how to access and maneuver these websites (Storyboard, Voicethread, Wiki) before we began in order to prevent any confusion for the students.
